Fietsflat (bike tower) in Hengelo is beter way to park your bike.

More and more travelers use their bicycles to station Hengelo. ProRail, together with the municipality of Hengelo, the Province of Overijssel and the Twente Region achieved with this bike parking a larger and more accessible bicycle parking next to the station.

The bicycle tower now has a total of 2,200 free bicycle parking spaces. This means a doubling of the number of bicycle parking spaces. This number can be further expanded in the future. The racks on the top floor can be even doubled.
This creates room for another four to five hundred bicycles.

ProRail has invested along with Hengelo municipality and province of Overijssel, 3.5 million in the new bicycle facilities.
